Germany has a wild history. A country of thinkers, artists, inventors, and also a country where faith once changed the world. 500 years ago, a bold man named Martin Luther stood up against the darkness of his time and sparked a movement that became the Reformation.
It wasn’t easy. It wasn’t popular. But it was real. And it didn’t just shift theology - it shook nations.
But here’s the thing: Reformation was never meant to stay in the history books.
We don’t just need museums and old hymns. We need Jesus alive and active in our lives today. In our schools, our cities, our friendships, our DMs, our churches. Germany doesn’t just need another influencer or celebrity. Germany needs reformers. And that could be you.
Let’s be real. The world around us is hurting. People are chasing after stuff that doesn’t satisfy: fake relationships, temporary highs, a million distractions. And deep down, we all know - this can’t be it.
The lostness is real. Depression, anxiety, emptiness, and apathy are everywhere. And sometimes, we feel it too. But if you’ve met Jesus, you’ve found something better. Something solid. Something alive.
So now the question is:
What are you going to do with it?
Too often, we think only missionaries or pastors can share the gospel. But Jesus didn’t only call “professional Christians.” His disciples were fishermen, tax collectors, nobodies by society’s standards. But they had something that mattered: faith and obedience.
And that’s all you need too.
You don’t need a stage to be a witness. You’ve got classmates, coworkers, teammates, and neighbors around you every day. You don’t have to leave Germany to be in missions. Everywhere is a mission field.
Maybe that looks like:
Starting a Bible study at your school or online
Praying with a friend who's struggling
Using your creativity to post truth on your socials
Volunteering with a ministry in your city
Taking a bold step and saying, “Hey, can I tell you about Jesus?”
Every act of obedience matters. Every step of faith counts.
Gen Z in Germany isn’t weak! You’re not too soft, too distracted, or too broken. You were born for this time. God chose you, equipped you, and placed you here on purpose.
You know your culture. You know how people think. You’ve seen what’s not working. And you carry the answer: Jesus.
The next reformation won’t come from politics or programs. It’ll come when people like you decide to live boldly, speak truth, and bring hope where it’s missing.
You don’t have to wait until you’re older or have it all figured out. The change starts with you, right now.
So go. Be a light.
Tell someone about Jesus.
Pray for your friends.
Take that risk.
Say “yes” to what God puts on your heart.
Germany needs another reformation, and it starts with young people who say:
